On the course of our Tamang Heritage Trek, we pass through extraordinary trails while visiting Buddhist monasteries, enjoying forest walks, and dipping in natural hot springs with excellent landscape and Himalayan scenery. Another major highlight of this trip is that we pass through various unspoiled Tamang villages like Gatlang, Thuman, etc.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,365m/4,264 ft)

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Preparation for the Trek

Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft) 145 km via Trishuli (Nuwakot) : 7-8 hours

Day 04: Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft.): 5 hours

Day 05: Gatlang to Tatopani(2607m/8550 ft):6-7 hours

Day 06: Tatopani to Thuman(2,400m/7,874 ft) via Brimdang and Nagthali: 6hours

Day 07: Thuman to Rasuwagadhi (2240m/7,349 ft) about 7 hours of walking camping.

Day 08: Rasuwagadhi to Briddim (2290m/7,513 ft) walking around 6 hours.

Day 09: Rest and exploring day in Briddim (2,345m/7,693 ft)

Day 10: Briddim to Syabrubeshi, Walking around 4 hours.

Day 11: Syaprubeshi to Kathmandu by Jeep/Local Bus

Day 12: Farewell Day
